		<description>This is such an excellent post. You know, I found a very similar environment when our oldest went to public school for grades 6 &#38; 7. 

Gee, with all kinds of different kids entering the system and parents having met with the same kinds of walls, I think maybe something must be up with the system itself. ;)</description>

I do not have any experience with autism, but I do have experience with public schools, and you are so right---they do not want a true partner.
